Brighton Fun!

Me and my roommate Brighton are crazy... at 2am we decide that we want to take crazy photos of ourselves on the Photobooth on my Mac.... Oh college girls... what do you do with them!?

School has begun!

This is the picture of the first day of school. I have no make up going to my first class... ew... oh well ha ha.... 

So school has begun. We got a brand new ward and I don't know how I feel about it yet... hopefully it gets better no body has really gotten together at all... sadness

My classes are going to be a ton of work but it'll be okay and I'm really busy because I work two part time jobs and I am pretty involved on campus so I'm going to be so busy... 

Oh my... I love everyone... and I just gave a really funny apartment prayer... haha

I love my little brother..

So growing up me and my little brother always loved each other but would fight like cats & dogs! We would scream & yell, scratch & kick... we were awful!!! But now him being 20 and I, 21, we are a lot more mature.... well.... not really.... ha ha

So me and my brother always think that this face is so cute and funny and we both look very much alike when we do it.... 

I was having a really hard day one day and I got a text from my little brosef saying, " Go check out my facebook picture." And to my surprise the picture below was his profile picture
Is that not the funniest thing you've ever seen. It seriously brighten my day sooo much I loved it! I love my little brother. He's bigger then me ( 6'2) and stronger then me and smarter then me, but he's still my baby brother and he makes me laugh so much! I love him! 

Family is awesome, isn't it! 

 

Wild Weekend!!!

So I had a wild weekend! As seen in my last post I went down to Bountiful Thursday and Friday  for Luke & Mary's wedding and had a blast! Then Saturday I had Lorie Ann & Mason's wedding that was beautiful and soo much fun! And then that evening the Akin family came in and we all prepared for the BIG BASH that was for Ashley, Michelle, Greg, Deagan, and Ryan! It was a Birthday party for all! This weekend was so much fun! But time to get down to business I have a Showcase to DIRECT!! AH! 

So this is Ashley, my roommate, and her boyfriend Mike. They are sooo fun! This was at the birthday party!

Those are the burgers Mike was trying to kill me with.... I ate the whole thing any ways but look how pink it was in the center!!  Ha ha!

Sister and Brother Akin! Oh man they're soo much fun! I love being around them! Honestly it's never dull with the Akins! They are so much fun!

So here is the happy couple! They are so beautiful! ANd fun and happy! I am so excited that they're married! They are so beautiful! 
Look! IT's KATIE!! She's engaged!! I am so excited! She's getting married in October! Isn't that crazy! I am soo excited for her! John, her fiance! He's awesome! So much fun!

Luke & Mary's Wedding!!!

So All of these pictures are backwards kind of.... the first ones are from today and the last ones are from yesterday... Anyways... I drove down to Kaysville/Syracuse/Bountiful Utah yesterday and spent the most amazing two days with the most amazing families ever! I felt soo loved by the Remingtons and by the Alleys and these two days weren't even for me! They were for LUKE & MARY!! They got Married! These are some of my bestfriends!! I knew them both before they were dating, then I knew them while they were dating and now I saw them get married! It's been the coolest Experience!!

I took that picture above of the two of them at the Temple right before we left. They got married about Bountiful! Such a beautiful Temple! 
That's me and Mary! I love her so much.... this day I knew it'd come I felt in my heart for a long time that her and Luke were perfect for each other

As I was driving home I saw the mountains and thought about the wedding I just got to be a part of... the sealing between two bestfriends for eternity... and AMAZING wonderful families that are going to be sealed forever through these two amazing people and just thought..... How blessed we are to have this gospel.... how blessed we are to know God....

Oh I love that girl.... she's amazing she makes me feel so good about myself. She really has this sweet presence that makes everyone around her happy :) 

 Seriously this was probably the most fun I've had all summer break! I love the Alleys and the Remingtons sooo much! They made me feel so at home being with them... I wish I was part of their family! I hope I always always stay in touch with them.... 

Oh man I'm car lagged... gotta go to bed! 

Faith....

An excerpt from my spiritual journal two years ago ( so i was just reading through my old journals) 

" Are we born with faith? Before this time we didn't need faith,  so do we come to the earth with a natural inclination to have faith? Is the loss of faith come with hardships and storms in our lives? Why do we lose faith? Why do we have faith? How can we gain back faith if lost?" 

I just thought that those were very interesting questions to think about.... Faith... So important to mankind but so many of us know little to none about it... 

How much I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.... I know that it is the true church restored on this earth today with the fulness of the Gospel.... *sigh* 

End of my summer semester!

This is for Mc Call and Courtney! I am so sorry it's been so long since I posted. But here is a little about my past summer semester! Now I'm really excited because I have these other pictures too from my vacation to GA... but for now the summer semester!

I made this scrapbook page for my friend David! He's going on his mission!! WOoo!! He's going to Uruguay! 

We all went mini golfing and it was so much fun! The boys won.... dang it... we were suppose to give massages but we never did... ha ha 
That is CB!!! My Home Teacher!! He was the best I can't wait for him to come back in January! Such a crazy dude!!

This past summer was a buncha fun... these pictures were from the last two weeks of the semester. I'm going to miss our Ward but it's time to embark on a new journey at BYU-Idaho! I am excited and ready to go!
